Baier’s new products at BaumaPublished 19/4, 2016 at 14:42
The German hand held tools manufacture Baier will use Bauma to launch several new products, including the BDB 825 coring system.
This system with the drill stand BST 200 is a dry core drilling system without any additional support needed to dry core in reinforced concrete. It can also be used without the drill stand. Baier’s strategy is to find niche markets and develop solution oriented products. The current warranty rate is at 0.3% due to the fact that there are continuous quality steps in the entire production process.
Baier was established in Stuttgart, Germany in 1938. The first electric hand-held metal saw was developed in 1950, followed by the first percussion drill in 1953. The first wall chaser was introduced in 1957 and the first diamond channel cutter in 1987 and further inventions followed in the 1990s and beyond to the present day.
