CASE adds five new models to its D seriesPublished 22/4, 2016 at 12:58
CASE Construction Equipment has added five new models to its D Series of crawler excavators. Varying in operating weight from 14 to 18.5t, the new CX130D, CX160D and CX180D are mid-sized models, while the 48.3t CX490D and 51t CX500D ME belong in the larger side of the range.
The machines come equipped with Tier 4 Final-compliant engines. Thanks to the new electronically controlled hydraulic pumps and a larger main valve, cycle times are shortened by 12%, which results in higher productivity. The excavators feature CASE’s energy saving system including Pump Torque Control, Auto-idle and Idle Shutdown functions, Spool Stroke Control, Boom Economy Control and Swing Relief Control. The redesigned undercarriage with one-side slope ensures there is less material build up between the frame and the tracks. The ROPS cab is certified for ROPS level II as standard, with a range of optional front guards available to ensure the operator’s safety in tough demolition environments. An optional LED work light package - more than three times brighter than halogen - is available for new models.
