Conjet appoints new chief executive and chairmanPublished 2/3 at 13:09
The Swedish hydrodemolition equipment manufacturer Conjet has appointed Kjell Nilsson as the company’s new chief executive, replacing Carl Strömdahl who becomes chairman of the company.
Kjell Nilsson has held various positions at Conjet in the past 16 years and knows the company’s different departments well, from product development, manufacturing, marketing and sales to service and after sales. He played a significant role in the development of Conjet’s modular product platform, launched in 2013.
Prior to joining Conjet in 2000 he worked for Atlas Copco for 25 years. "Kjell has a solid knowledge of Conjet’s products and operations and has extensive experience as a project manager, solid technical industry knowledge and good social skills. He has also demonstrated to be highly results oriented. It feels good now to pass on the baton to Kjell," said Strömdahl,
"I feel very honoured to have been offered the position as chief executive of Conjet, which is a strong player in a market with huge potential,” said Nilsson. “Moreover, it is exciting to work in a company with continued high pioneering spirit. It was Conjet that introduced hydrodemolition technology in the mid 1980s and I look forward to leading the strong and competent Conjet team into the future.”
