The Deutz apprenticeship scheme has once again been recognised as being among the best in the industry. On 4 December 2017, Deutz apprentice Kai Wollenweber, received an award at the ‘Best in Germany Ceremony’ in Berlin for achieving the best result in the metal technology specialist exam.
The 19 year old scored 99 out of a possible 100 points. “We are very proud of the achievements of our training centre and of our apprentices. This accolade presented by the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) shows that the quality of our training is right up there with the best in Germany,” says Dr Margarete Haase, the member of the Deutz Board of Management with responsibility for Finance, Purchasing and Information Services.
