In order to facilitate the participation in the event, the organization offers the opportunity to register through the following languages: English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and Finnish.
This year’s European Demolition Association Convention on 14-16 June will include the DDR Expo and forum at the Brussels Expo next to Place de Belgique in Brussels, Belgium.
A comprehensive programme
EDA and the DDR Forum and Expo 2017 aims to link the demolition, decontamination and recycling activities with the circular economy. During the three days, there will be 16 workshops, 17 plenary sessions with unique contents and a strong business approach.
The DDR 2017 will have two different spaces for the conference programme. There will be plenary and workshop rooms where the presentations will be held from 9:00 to 18:00 on Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15, and from 9:00 to 13:00 on Friday 16.
During this time, the exhibition room will be opened to the latest machinery and equipment and to make contacts between the attendants.
Some of the topics will be: Decontamination of Persistent Organic Pollutants, Demolition of damaged buildings and infrastructures and Developing a Circular Economy in Europe.
In addition, other topics will be chaired by the institutions partners: Recycling metals: trends and business opportunities, by Metals for building and Recycling construction and demolition waste and resources, by FIR.
On the last day, the conference programme will focus on the directives of the European Commission, with the presentation of the CD Waste management protocol and the update of the Waste Framework.
