Erket, a manufacturer of excavator attachments based in Hämbach in the Thuringia region of Germany, changed its name to Kemroc. Company ownership remains unchanged and the product portfolio will be expanded.
Kemroc, a manufacturer of specialist milling products on an international scale, can call on over 15 years’ experience in the development, manufacture and promotion of innovative excavator and backhoe attachments. Their strong, reliable cutter attachments have increased the productivity of excavators for contracting companies in a wide variety of locations and applications.
In line with the slogan, "revolution of cutting", Kemroc specialist attachments have completed difficult tasks in civil engineering, concrete refurbishment, and tunnelling and mining projects and have been used for auger drilling and cleaning flat steel surfaces. All Kemroc products are made in Germany and the current portfolio includes chain cutters, trencher attachments, rock cutting wheels, surface milling machines and universal cutters, auger drive units and surface cleaning attachments.
According to the company founder and owner, Klaus Ertmer, the company will continue to focus on special milling attachments for applications in demolition, tunnelling, trenching, drilling, foundation and underwater projects. Kemroc is working in close cooperation with service technicians and customers to develop solutions to some of their demanding problems. Practical advice and after sales service round off the company's offerings. Product development will expand Kemroc’s product range and extra office space is being built at the Hämbach site to accommodate a larger design department.
