New financial directorPublished 16/4 at 15:44
The Keltbray Group, the UK specialist business offering engineering, construction, demolition, decommissioning, remediation, rail, reinforced concrete structures and environmental services, has announced the appointment of Peter Burnside as its new group financial director.
Peter has been appointed to strengthen the senior management team, and joins Keltbray from global accountancy and business advisory firm, BDO, where he was managing partner for BDO Northern Ireland. Peter will be based at Keltbray’s head office in Esher, and is taking over the role previously held by John Keehan, who has been Keltbray’s financial director since 2005. Peter’s appointment will enable John to focus solely on his role as deputy chief executive officer.
Peter will be responsible for financial reporting across the group. He will also assume responsibilities for insurance, facilities and IT, as well as the management of Keltbray’s property portfolio.
About his new position, Peter said: “I have been involved in many complex restructurings and acquisitions and look forward to help bolster Keltbray’s expertise in this area, as we look into new development opportunities and grow as a group.”
Peter Burnside is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners as well as being a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
