Tyrolit launches the new WSE1621 wall saw systemPublished 16/4, 2018 at 16:08
With the introduction of the WSE1621, Tyrolit has introduced a new wall saw system which it believes sets new standards in its class through the use of ultra-compact and lightweight system components, as well as many digital features.
This means that virtually all usual tasks can be mastered easily, whilst providing a maximum depth of cut of 705mm and a blade diameter of 1,600mm. The new universal electric wall saw will be available through Tyrolit partners in Austria, Germany and Switzerland from the end of May 2018, and afterwards in all other European countries.
Experience and skill
Founded in the 1970s, 1983 saw Tyrolit introduce the first fully hydraulic wall saw. With the introduction of the WSE1621, the company has further developed the concept of wall sawing, demonstrating its pioneering role in the professional working of reinforced concrete. The WSE1621 combines an especially high performance with compact dimensions, and low weight for its class.
Reliable, powerful and innovative
The objective behind the development of the WSE1621 was to produce a user friendly and reliable wall saw with compact system components using innovative technologies. All components have been redesigned from scratch and configured for an optimal weight/performance ratio. For example, the saw head and the ultra-compact motor, which has a tool free quick release feature, only weighs approximately 35kg. The construction of the WSE1621, in conjunction with the newly developed, lightweight blade guard, thus makes its use ‘child’s play’.
The new wall saw system is completed by a control unit that has been reduced to the size of a small case, and possesses state of the art communication interfaces. The bright colour display also provides the operator with details about all relevant information that is needed before, during and after the cutting process.
New drive concept
Tyrolit’s revolutionary P2® drive concept has also been used for it latest wall saw family member, providing high performance and reliability combined with significantly reduced service costs. A modular system, enabling system-independent use of individual components within different applications has also been successfully integrated. This means, for example, that the controller and the compact main motor are also suitable for wire sawing and drilling in addition to wall sawing.
It is recommended that the new WSE1621 is fitted with wall saw blades that use TGD® technology for optimum application results.
