At the bauma 2019 exhibition, Tyrolit will present its latest innovations to an international audience.
A 210m2 indoor booth and a 160m2 outdoor area will display the Austrian manufacturer’s comprehensive product assortment for concrete cutting and drilling as well as special product solutions for complex projects. The outdoors area will also provide space for live equipment demonstrations.
Product innovations for concrete cutting professionals
Amongst Tyrolit’s exhibits at bauma are the WSE811-MKII wall saw, an upgrade of its existing compact wall saw, and an extended assortment of wall saw blades with TGD technology. The company says that its wall sawing highlight will however be the WSE1621. With ultra-light components, intelligent communication interfaces and cutting depths of up to 705mm, the WSE1621 is a wall saw for everyday use at the construction site. Moreover, the wall saw is the first Tyrolit machine equipped with ‘MoveSmart’ technology, which provides real time user data of the machine. This technology is the basis for optimised planning and cost efficient, faster operations for customers and users, as well as for user oriented product development.
The WCU17 wire saw will also be debuted at the German show. It comes with a wire storage of up to 17m and is easy to use. One special feature is the machine’s compatibility with the drive units and remote controls of other Tyrolit machines such as the WSE1217 and WSE1621. Another highlight is the recently CE-certified WS30, a HF-wire saw from Tyrolit subsidiary, Diamond Products.
Product innovations for the construction industry
In time to mark its 100th anniversary, Tyrolit will also present a completely new, compact dry cutting assortment for the construction industry. Within the next two years, the complete assortment will be adapted in line with current market needs as well as with today’s powerful machines. Central to the new range are high product safety as well as optimised cutting speeds and maximum tool lifetime. Product innovations include discs with conventional segments as well as segments with TGD technology. Further highlights include a new assortment of floor grinders and floor grinding shoes, the new TBE400 table saw as well as the DRS250 core drilling system.
Special project solutions
For more than two decades, Tyrolit has been involved in ‘special projects’, including the controlled decommissioning of offshore platforms and nuclear power plants. Apart from the classic concrete drilling and sawing equipment, which can be adapted according to the customers’ needs, Tyrolit’s project services team offers a wide range of special tools and machines for complex projects. Part of this range will be presented to the general public for the very first time at bauma. This offering includes the ‘Curved Track’ drilling unit for deep drilling, and the world’s first ATEX certified wire sawing system, as well as the ‘Dolphin’ by 1Diamond, one of the leading experts in the offshore and subsea business. Tyrolit and 1Diamond teamed up in 2018 bringing customised project solutions from both companies to an entirely new level, enabling them to offer various cutting solutions for as deep as 3,000m below sea level up to the surface.
