A new generation of cordless power cutters
Published 2/4 at 14:06For the first product launches of the year, Hilti is presenting a new generation of cordless power cutters, the DSH 600-22 ATC and DSH 700-22 ATC. These machines are designed to combine high performance with improved safety and deliver the same power as petrol powered alternatives, but without the fuel handling and extensive maintenance.
Advanced safety with 3D ‘ATC’ and fall protection
Safety is a central part of the design and both new models are equipped with 3D Active Torque Control (ATC). This built in kickback and kickback protection technology is said to minimise the risk of kickback, while a fall protected disc brake ensures that the blade stops in less than a second, further increasing user safety. In addition, the DSH 700-22 3D ATC is adapted for working close to the floor thanks to its rear handle, which provides better ergonomics and control when cutting at ground level.
Longer runtime and high productivity
The DSH 600-22 ATC and DSH 700-22 ATC are part of Hilti’s ‘Nuron’ platform. Thanks to the efficient combination of Nuron batteries and optimised diamond blades, users are said to be able cut up to 30% longer compared to a full tank of fuel without having to stop for refuelling or servicing a petrol engine. The smart battery technology also provides integrated diagnostics, helping to plan and manage the tool fleet more efficiently.
Be efficient and safe with the right accessories
To minimise dust exposure and ensure the highest possible health and safety, both cutters can be used with the ‘DSH-DRS’ dust management system and DWP 15-22 water tank, which together minimise dust and improve the working environment. They are also compatible with the ‘DSH-FSC’ floor saw carriage, which provides increased stability during longer cuts. In addition, Hilti has developed a new 300mm diamond blade, optimised for cordless cutters and designed for maximum performance.
