Conjet launches ‘Rotating Head’

Published 2/4 at 12:58

Conjet has introduced its Rotating Head, a new product designed to enhance efficiency and precision in light hydrodemolition and scarifying. It is designed to provide increased flexibility and improved concrete removal, especially in applications where a traditional oscillating lance is not optimal.

The new Rotating Head technology features a rotating lance with a combination of an optimised attack angle and a whisk angle. This dual angle design optimises the result as it combines precision and power to create an even surface while reducing shadowing under rebar, thereby eliminating so-called ‘pipe-holes’. The design and functionality were developed with total efficiency in mind, as Conjet believes this approach is crucial for ensuring customer profitability and satisfaction. The product can be used with Conjet’s 557 Robot and is part of the company’s standard offering.

Market and applications

Rotating Head can be used in a wide range of applications across various markets. It will also fit into markets with regulatory requirements for rotating lances, such as Japan and North America. By providing a solution for hydrodemolition and scarifying, it meets the demands of customers seeking a reliable, robust, and user friendly product. “With Rotating Head, our customers can work more efficiently and achieve better results in light hydrodemolition and scarifying. The product offers a unique combination of precision and power while being easy to use and integrate into existing systems,” says Tomas Ek, lead engineer, Conjet.

Other features of Rotating Head include dual angle technology which combines a combination of whisk angle and attack angle to aid efficient demolition with a smoother surface and reduced pitting. It also has an integrated flow stabiliser so that the water jet creates a solid core that delivers the highest efficiency possible. Conjet’s ceramic nozzle  is also fitted which lasts up to 300h. The design of the Rotating Head is patent pending, which Conjet states reinforces its innovative edge in hydrodemolition.

Quick change

Rotating Head is designed as a quick change solution, allowing operators to easily switch between different tools, such as an oscillating cradle and a rotating cradle. This provides greater flexibility and improved work efficiency.

Rotating Head was initially presented at World of Concrete 2025 and will also be showcased at the bauma 2025. Conjet will be located at Booth A1.338. It is already now available for order.
