Soon the Paris based international Intermat exhibition will be held. Due to the Covid pandemic, the last iteration of the show meant that Intermat was postponed, but from 24-27 April the show will take place at the exhibition centre Paris-Nord Villepinte on the north side of Paris. In January, the organiser of the show invited the international press to hear from a number of exhibitors at the show what visitors can expect at their stands and booths at the show in April, with some 40+ exhibitors attending the Intermat press days. Among these, the following exhibitors were of particular interest to PDi Magazine: Arden Equipment, Bobcat/Doosan, Develon, Engcon, Hitachi, Kobelco, Komatsu, Liebherr, LiuGong, Magni, Merlo, Montabert, Rototilt, Steelwrist and Volvo Construction Equipment.

 

Some new products to be launched at Intermat 

More detailed information of the news presented by the above exhibitors will be published in the PDi Intermat issue in April. It can however be mentioned that the French manufacturer Arden Equipment will launch a completely new lubrication free series of multipurpose sorting grippers called the ‘S’ series. Initially, this will consist of four models: S080G, S100G, S230G and S250G for carriers from 0.8t to 6t. Arden will also release new models of hydraulic quick couplers with model designations QA05-H, QA13-H and QA23-H. The models are intended for carriers weighing 0.8t to 12t. Just in time for Intermat, the company will also release its new fully automatic quick coupling system, ‘AIO’. Develon announced that it will launch a number of new products at Intermat. Among these are the DTL35-7 compact track loader, DL80TL-7 compact wheel loader, four new mini excavators, zero emission excavators, a new material handler and a new crawler excavator. Komatsu will launch a new electric mini excavator and a 13t electric excavator and the new electric excavator, PC210LCE-11. Also to be showcased at Intermat are a new midi excavator, new wheeled excavators and two new mini excavators PC24MR-5 and PC18MR-8, to name but a few. 

The tiltrotator manufacturer Rototilt informed the press about a forthcoming €3.12M investment and expansion of its factory in Vindeln, Sweden. At Intermat Rototilt will explain to visitors how its new ‘RC’ tiltrotator series benefits thanks to the series’ improved energy efficiency as a result of Rototilt’s proprietary pressure compensated hydraulics. Another hydraulic quick coupling manufacturer, Steelwrist, will exhibit its new third generation tiltrotators. The actual launch will take place on the 13-14 March at Steelwrist’s new premises in Hamburg, with the inauguration of Steelwrist Deutschland taking place at the same time.
