Goldhofer at the Mawev show
Published 18/4 at 13:07The 2024 Mawev show was held in St. Pölten-Wörth from 10 – 13 April. Goldhofer, one of the world’s leading providers of heavy and specialised transport solutions exhibited two of its vehicles designed for heavy haulage.
The Mawev exhibited four axle ‘Trailstar’ is designed to carry high payloads at a comparatively low dead weight, resulting in a very impressive payload to dead weight ratio. It also has a low loading height and a user friendly design. This makes it ideal for daily transportation work with a wide variety of loads for the construction industry. It features a robust yet lightweight design and offers good vehicle handling stability plus optimised axle load distribution. It comes with Wader container locks for transporting 3.3m construction containers and is also available with Goldhofer’s ‘CargoPlus’ tyres for axle loads of 10t or 12t and a usable loading height of 780mm (-60/+140 mm).
The STZ-L 4 semi low loader with wheel recesses was another highlight at the Goldhofer stand. It was shown carrying a Liebherr L550 wheel loader. The STZ-L 4 is designed to be a universal workhorse for everyday haulage operations and is ideal for the fast and safe transportation of construction machinery. Loading height can be reduced thanks to a straightforward locking mechanism in the wheel recesses. The height of the wheel recesses can also be easily adjusted to transport other goods such as tracked vehicles or general cargo. The STZ-L 4 has a payload capacity of 43t, which can be increased to 50t with ‘MPA’ axle technology.
“We are convinced that with our products and solutions we can meet and exceed the requirements and expectations of our customers in the heavy haulage industry. We warmly welcomed all visitors to stand L55 so that they could see the quality and capabilities of our vehicles for themselves,” says Levin Gonser, area sales manager Central Europe at Goldhofer.
