Holp introduces the productive, long lasting and valuable ‘RotoTop’

Holp says as the pioneer in pure rotation, it is now scoring points in more and more markets with the quality of its products. The company adds that it’s the finely tuned range of RotoTop, and other clever attachments, is constantly helping to expand its dealer network in Germany and abroad. At bauma, Holp will once again be presenting innovations that are designed to bring greater efficiency to construction sites.

The construction industry is currently suffering massively from the economic downturn triggered by multiple crises in the world, with uncertainty, cost pressures and a broad reluctance to invest, coupled with a shortage of skilled labour having a negative effect. Still, construction work has to be completed on time. Holp aims to offer an important aid for solving this situation with high quality and extended service with the RotoTop and eight other product groups designed to reliably produce increases in performance on construction sites. They are designed to reduce fuel consumption and machine downtime, which ultimately leads to higher productivity in the processes and thus better earnings for the construction company. At the same time, they also save on manual labour, which is not always available.

The world's widest range of rotary drives

With its RotoTop, Holp states that it is the only manufacturer of rotary drives in the world to offer a range of 11 finely tuned models for excavators with operating weights from 600kg to 45t. The RotoTop has a very flat construction and the excavator does not experience any noticeable reduction in performance due to its light weight.  Likewise, the largest rotary joints on the market (six to eight fold) deliver the most oil to the attachment, so that long term heavy duty use of attachments with high oil requirements, such as tillers and mulchers, is no challenge at all. The robust and durable design makes sure that any investment in RotoTop and the other attachments is quickly amortised and additional money for the company can be earned.

Holp is by no means stopping development efforts, continuously optimising the existing product portfolio. For example, the RT.301 HD and ‘HD+’ models, the largest RotoTop models to date, have become the RT.302, RT.352 and RT.402 models, with further optimised housings. In order to protect the rotary drive even more reliably against boulders transported in the bucket during rock work and demolition, the housing has been reinforced on the inside. The team, led by Swabian inventor Günter Holp, also has other innovations in the pipeline, but these will be unveiled at the bauma stand.

Modernising production and shortening delivery times

Holp has not only optimised its attachments in recent years, but there has also been a complete restructuring of the entire operational process. At the new modern company site, all departments have been arranged the best way with production under one roof. What is more, production and storage capacities have also been massively increased. As a result, Holp has been able to reduce its delivery times by an average of two thirds.

If a construction company wishes to optimise processes, increase performance, save costs and increase yields on construction sites in times of crisis, Holp states that the RotoTop and the other attachments can achieve a considerable part of this goal. Holp constantly shows participants at numerous training events and open days at its test arena and new training rooms how easy it is to put this into practice. This will also be offered to all visitors at bauma in Munich.
