Husqvarna Construction expands its battery range
Published 20/12, 2022 at 09:39With the DM 1 ‘Pace’, Husqvarna Construction has expanded its offering to customers needing battery powered products to do heavy duty jobs.
This includes the recently developed battery core drill, which is powered by Husqvarna's own Pace battery system. “The demand for electrified equipment is growing in many of our segments and markets. Our award winning K1 Pace high power cutter has paved the way, showing the capabilities we have to support our customers in the shift to a low carbon, resource smart economy. It’s been very well received by our customers,” said Joe Taylor, Sr. director, Global Product & Service Management at Husqvarna Construction.
With the ‘i-Series’, and Pace systems, Husqvarna Construction offers two proprietary battery solutions. bauma 2022 in Germany provided a great opportunity for discovering these, as well as Husqvarna Construction's latest range of battery and corded machines. Husqvarna Construction also showcased a number of new battery products at its booth at the world's largest trade show for construction equipment.
“We presented additional equipment on our Pace 94V battery system, the battery core drill DM 1 Pace and the dust extractor DE 120 Pace, two powerful machines that make the Pace system a strong alternative for customers who prefer to operate with the mobility of cordless equipment with a zero emission mind-set at a construction site,” said Joe Taylor.
“In a way, our presence and new introductions at bauma 2022 reflect the societal challenges the construction industry at large is facing, with sustainability being an integral part in all our product development for a long time. Equally important is that we, as a total solutions provider and partner with local presence all over the world, can support a very wide range of our customer’s present and future needs.
“We’re here to support our customers in shaping the future; the urban environments of tomorrow are built by professionals and their success is ours. We do that by combining our passion for innovation and sustainability. Our commitment covers many aspects that are close to our heart and key to our customers; the health and safety of those who operate our equipment, premium quality, efficiency, productivity and the end results being delivered while minimising the impact on the environment,” said Joe Taylor.
