Indeco launches the new ‘Auto Dismantler’ configuration for its multifunctional IMP 15

The new IMP 15 has been designed specifically for the scrap yard activity to enable users to speed up work and thereby maximise profits for each vehicle scrapped. It is now said to be even more efficient and versatile thanks to the new Auto Dismantler shear clamp configuration, designed to combine the different cutting actions, the separation and handling of materials in the motor vehicle scrapping business. The jaw design of the new shear clamp is specifically designed to allow a perfect grip and therefore faster extraction of different recycling components consisting of motors, alloy parts and wiring etc.

The presence of two independent hydraulic cylinders makes both jaws mobile, facilitating the grip on the components to be removed. This is said to be a considerable advantage over conventional pliers, which have a movable and fixed jaw. The robust and fast rotation mechanism, common to all Indeco rotating equipment, is fundamental for the correct positioning of the tool being designed for a faster and more effective action. Special attention has been paid to the extraction and recovery system of the electrical wiring, which allows operations to be speeded up without causing damage to high value added components. The new configuration, which is added to the breaker, pulveriser, shear and combi cutter, makes the smallest model in the ‘IMP’ range a great ally for companies that need an instrument able to cope with the widest case of application situations in the field of demolition and recycling.
