New GPR system from Sensors & Software
Published 6/3 at 11:24Sensors & Software, Inc. introduces the LMX150 Findar, a compact, high resolution ground penetration radar system for utility locating that provides locating and mapping capabilities to pinpoint the location of buried metallic and non-metallic utilities.
This system features a compact cart (55 x 90cm, 19kg) allowing the user to transport to site and use the unit in confined areas, while still handling all field terrains the user may encounter in their daily work, according to Sensors & Software. The LMX150 Findar’s intuitive user interface makes it easy to collect and process data for immediate results in the field, according to Sensors & Software. The high-resolution GPR sensor is optimized for shallow utilities. Features include the line scan mode for collecting cross-sectional lines for reconnaissance purposes to pinpoint utilities and mark their locations; grid scan mode for collecting grids to locate utilities in complex areas, as well as collect lines around obstacles within the grid; 3D depth slicing for visualization of the position and depth of utilities; field interpretations; MapView for visualization of the entire GPR survey; screenshots; and a geo-referenced output. It is possible to transfer screenshot images and GPR projects for archiving or post processing with the Ekko_Project GPR analysis and reporting software.
