New ‘Shark’ shear from Trevi Benne
Published 2/4 at 14:01The new Trevi Benne hydraulic Shark shear is set to be revealed to the public at bauma. The Shark features a slim and attractive profile, designed to protect the cylinder.
Two Parker motors and a regenerative valve are designed to make it extremely fast. The evolution compared to the previous ‘Marilyn’ version lies in the APEX geometry, and the design of the blades, optimised for cutting metallic materials. The new shear is said to deliver increased cutting efficiency that reduces the effort required to cut hard materials, has uniform blade wear which distributes better cutting forces, increasing the cutting edges lifespan, and delivers improved material control which minimises the risk of metal pieces getting stuck or deforming during cutting.
The Shark shear will be exhibited at bauma in Hall 5, Booth 503.
