OilQuick and Normet launch new ‘Xquick’ coupler
Published 21/11 at 10:28OilQuick, a leading manufacturer of fully automatic quick coupler systems, is excited to announce a strategic collaboration with Normet, an innovative technology company specialising in underground mining, tunnelling and construction solutions. This partnership has culminated in the development of the new Xquick coupler system, designed to revolutionise mining efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
The new Normet Xquick coupler, based on OilQuick’s quick coupler technology, allows operators to change tools and attachments in a matter of seconds without any workers being around the machine. It thus eliminates the need for manual tool changes, reducing risk and enhancing productivity in underground operations.
A game changer
The addition of Xquick to Normet’s ‘Xrock’ suite represents a breakthrough for mining and construction companies seeking to enhance both productivity and safety. The Xquick coupler offers seamless and rapid switching between a variety of tools, enabling operators to handle multiple tasks using a single machine. This flexibility optimises fleet management, reduces equipment costs, and maximises uptime on job sites.
“We are thrilled to bring Xquick couplers to the mining market in partnership with OilQuick,” said Jyrki Hyyrönmäki, global sales director of Normet’s Xrock breaker product line. “This collaboration allows us to create new business opportunities for our customers, further strengthening the comprehensive solutions offered through our Xrock product line.” Johan Lindqvist, sales director OilQuick AB added: “This partnership with Normet is a great opportunity for us to move into the mining segment. With our long experience and well-known reputation when it comes to quality and efficiency, I know we have a lot to offer. Not to mention workplace safety in the construction business where we are best in class for sure.”
