Ronda introduces new ‘1800H Twin’ vacuum cleaner
Published 24/7 at 11:11In order to obtain a healthy and dust free work environment, as much dust as possible needs to be removed at source, especially very small and hazardous particles. This highlights the importance of ‘H-class’ vacuum cleaners in the construction, demolition and restoration industries.
So as to effectively remove these containments, the 1800H Twin, a new, more powerful heavy duty vacuum cleaner equipped with two high performing bypass motors of each 1350W, has been developed. It is an upgrade of the Ronda ‘1800H Power’ which was only available with one motor.
Low air flow alarm
If an H-class vacuum cleaner is connected to a dust generating tool such as a floor grinding machine, the vacuum cleaner must be equipped with an acoustic alarm so that the operator is warned if the air flow in the hose drops below 20m/sec. This is the internationally defined limit (cf. IEC60335-2-69, Europe: EN60335-2-69) which has been established to ensure that dust is appropriately removed from hoses and equipment. Therefore, the new 1800H Twin is equipped with an acoustic alarm which will sound in case the air flow is too low. It is well suited for large volumes of fine or hazardous dust and can be used for regular vacuuming and cleaning tasks, as well as (with alarm) for extracting directly from tools.
With the1800H Twin it is possible to activate one or two motors as needed. The machine has a hose diameter select function which enables operation with either 38mm or 50mm hose. Furthermore, the machine is also equipped with soft-start, which ensures a gentle startup with less strain on both motors and electrical installations. As standard, the1800H Twin is static electricity dissipating.
Large volumes of fine dust
In terms of filtration, the 1800H Twin corresponds to the existing 1800H Power and it is designed to handle large volumes of fine dust, e.g. quartz and plaster dust. It has a large multi tube filter with a self-cleaning effect. Furthermore, the machine is equipped with the well-known Ronda filter cleaning system (chock valve). The new machine is also available in two versions with collection in Longopac or in a metal container respectively. The strong metal frame and large wheels of the Ronda 1800H Twin make it easy to handle the machine and move it around at the site and between locations with both tube and nozzle being able to be positioned on the side of the machine.
