This year at bauma, Scanreco invites attendees to explore ‘Destination Extreme’
Published 2/4 at 14:37At the Scanreco booth, visitors will be able to explore several operational safety and efficiency enhancers. Moreover, Scanreco will show conceptual products as well as new radio remote control models, and radio transmitting products, that perform regardless of any extreme condition.
“We take great pride in going the extra mile to ensure that our products are reliable, safe to use for what they were designed for, and hold a high functional safety level. We took the increasing cybersecurity threat seriously already a decade or so ago. When developing our products, we make sure to be steps ahead of the evolving threats and coming regulations,” explains Kristofer Hylén, head of the development team at Scanreco says. “We’d love to talk cybersecurity with show visitors. It is a complex subject and non-negotiable for our industry.”
One such solution is Scanreco’s ‘Smart Operator’ concept which is said to be unique to the industry. It focuses on how well thought through remote control design can help operators in their daily work situations. It possesses easy to use intuitive controls and cuts the learning curve of the application, which in turn helps getting new and inexperienced operators up to speed quicker whilst contributing to increased machine efficiency with less downtime.
“We have the most demanding customers in the world, and we love to be put to the test. We never dodge their requirements but challenge ourselves, and sometimes even then, to solve their problems and exceed their requirements. We strive to be at the forefront of technology, and we are strong advocates for HMI and intuitive remote control design,” says Scanreco VP product management, Mattias Kelam.
Scanreco supports machine builders and system integrators around the world to design better remote control solutions. With a new machine builder centric website, available online shortly before bauma, Scanreco looks to support machine manufacturers sourcing radio remote control systems, clarify how and what remote control models enhance their machine developments, help tackle operator shortage and meet the growing rental machine market. The new website will also serve as an industry knowledge hub where machine builders and operators can delve into topics ranging from cybersecurity to design optimisation.
Scanreco will exhibit in Booth A2.141 at bauma in April.
