Tyrolit Hydrostress AG celebrates its 50th anniversary

The Swiss concrete processing specialist part of the Tyrolit Group, Hydrostress AG, has recently celebrates its 50th year of successful business.

Tyrolit Hydrostress AG, based in Pfäffikon, Switzerland, can look back on many milestones over five successful decades in the market. In order to mark this special occasion, over 100 guests, including numerous business partners, customers and suppliers, attended an official celebration.

After a varied daytime programme, including a boat trip and brewery tour, company management invited guests to the official 50th anniversary celebration in the evening. “We look back with pride on the 50 year history of Tyrolit Hydrostress with all its innovations and look forward to many more successful years. With our vision, ‘The future of construction’, we continue to set standards and shape the construction industry of tomorrow,” says Andreas Sauerwein, member of the Tyrolit executive board and managing director of the Construction Division.

Tyrolit Hydrostress AG specialises in the development and manufacture of machines for the construction industry. In 1974, the original Hans Bieri engineering office was transformed into Hydrostress AG. The company has been part of the internationally active Tyrolit Group since 2001. 

In 1983, the company launched the world’s first fully hydraulic wall saw to the market. This was followed in 1998 by the world’s first fully automatic small wall saw, and in 2015, by the world’s lightest compact wall saw. In 2023, the first Tyrolit floor sanding machines were developed and launched.
